To support our thriving sales team, we are seeking a proactive Strategic Business Developer to drive business growth and partnerships with retailers, manufacturers, distributors, and large accounts across the European market.
Job Description
The Strategic Business Developer will be instrumental in driving new business opportunities, building long-term strategic relationships, and growing our presence in key markets. You will work to understand client needs, create tailored solutions, and position BIORIUS as a trusted partner in the cosmetic regulatory industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential business partners across retailers, manufacturers, distributors, and large accounts in Europe.
- Leverage an extensive network in the industry, including associations, clients, and various key actors in the market, to generate new business opportunities.
- Lead negotiations and close complex commercial agreements that align with BIORIUS’ strategic objectives.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to increase market penetration.
- Represent BIORIUS at international trade shows and conferences, driving networking and brand visibility efforts.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, preferably targeting retailers, manufacturers, and distributors in the cosmetics industry.
- Extensive Network: Strong relationships with industry associations, clients, and key actors are essential to effectively develop and leverage new business opportunities.
- Language Skills: Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written. Proficiency in German or any additional European language is a significant advantage.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong strategic mindset with a proven track record of growing B2B relationships and closing deals in complex markets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a focus on value-based selling.
- Analytical thinking and ability to identify growth opportunities in the market.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Cosmetics Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will:
- Act as a project manager and consultant: Guide clients through complex regulatory processes and challenges, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Provide technical expertise: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, answering inquiries and offering expert regulatory guidance.
- Evaluate cosmetic products: Review product formulations, assess compliance with international regulations, and determine product safety.
- Offer actionable recommendations: Advise on potential reformulations to meet compliance standards and improve product safety.
- Navigate global regulations: Interpret and apply diverse international cosmetic regulations to ensure product compliance.

- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience practicing marketing communications review in Cosmetics industry.
- The ability to quickly navigate and adapt to international cosmetic regulations.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French (fluency required).
